Overview
SimpleFindBar is an extremely usefull add-on for Internet Explorer.
It replaces the built in 'Find' dialog with an Incremental Search bottom bar, meaning that as you type what you are looking for, the matched text is found and highlighted inside the HTML page.
This kind of search is also called an inline search or progressive search.
In addition to this efficient search feature, SimpleFindBar contains a few more usefull features like
bookmarking html pages, highlighting a phrase and more.
It's important to emphasize that the SimpleFindBar
doesn't do anything before you activate it by clicking CTRL + F, except to
wait for this keystroke combination. You can be sure that it doesn't
consume any system resources like memory or CPU.
You will realize that it is a real time saver software that makes your browsing
experience much more efficient and much easier.
How to use it?
Using SimpleFindBar is very straightforward. Clicking on CTRL + F will open
the search bar in the bottom of the browser (the focus is already in place), just type
what you are looking for and here you go, the matched text is found and highlighted as you type.
Note that SimpleFindBar overrides the status bar to save some screen area but if you don't like it and prefer to
open it above the status bar, you can change the default settings via the Settings dialog among other things that
you can configure.
